The new President and CEO of Skaggs Regional Medical Center is starting his new job today. William Mahoney comes to Branson after 5 1/2 years in Parsons, KS, where he established the only rural diabetes center in the nation. Mahoney will be joined in Branson at the end of the school year by his wife, Tammy, and their 9 children.

Watch for equipment being unloaded this week near the construction site for the new Lake Taneycomo Bridge. MoDot says contractor crews will be on the east side of the bridge site in Hollister, and short-term traffic stops can be expected periodically.
