Groundhog Says More Winter - Snow, Snow, Snow
On this day in 1887 the first Groundhog day was observed. Punxsutawney Phil the groundhog has emerged to see his shadow before chilly revelers in Pennsylvania, meaning winter will last another six weeks. The Groundhog Club says since 1887 Phil has predicted more winter weather by seeing his shadow nearly 100 times. So bundle up - winter isn’t over yet. Snow creations popped up across Stone and Taney Counties over the weekend. Brian Panetta had to use a cherry picker to get the top on his, but it was worth it. Four-year-old Jacob and his dad built this snowman
which has enough room for him to crawl into, almost like an igloo.
